CAEL: Hispanic Serving Institution Adult Learner 360 Project (2018-Present)

CEAC is assisting the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) the development of a standard consulting process, and needed materials, for working with each institution on the development of their action and evaluation plans. Additionally, CEAC will deliver a 2-3-hour workshop session at a convening of the 15 institutions that will introduce them to formative evaluation. CAEL is currently managing a 3-year, 15-institution initiative to improve programs, services, and/or policies that support adult learners and adult Latino learners. A major component of the project is initial work with each institution to develop a plan for change with related success metrics, data collection, and evaluation. The plan will be designed to address issues and problem areas identified through CAEL’s Adult Learner 360 assessment tool that surveys adult learners and administrators on the need for and effectiveness of specific programs and services.
