Community College of Allegheny County
The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) is committed to providing quality educational services to the residents of Allegheny County. Students can take advantage of a variety of courses desgined to enhance their learning experience. One way in which CCAC helps is by offering supportive developmental mathematics courses for those students not yet ready to engage in credit-level college mathematics. CCAC procured special funding to provide Supplemental Instruction as an interevention strategy to strengthen student learning in mathematics. This two pronged approach utilized Study Leaders to facilitate study groups to augment the regular class instruction.
